Building scalable digital platforms is challenging enough on its own, but doing it while managing growing teams, evolving infrastructure, and a constantly shifting AI landscape is a different problem altogether. I’ve spent over a decade working at the intersection of engineering leadership, infrastructure architecture, and technical strategy, helping organizations turn complex technology problems into real, measurable business outcomes.

As Director of Technology at Black & White Zebra, I set the technical direction for several digital publishing brands. My responsibilities range from platform performance and cloud architecture to shaping AI-driven workflows and managing a multidisciplinary engineering team of about 20 people.

I assembled that team from the ground up in less than three years, while also modernizing BWZ’s entire technology stack. These efforts led to better deployment reliability, faster publishing, and stronger platform scalability across multiple brands. Previously, at Navegg, I managed engineering, data, and infrastructure teams responsible for a large-scale Data Management Platform. This platform processed vast amounts of data daily and connected directly with enterprise partners such as Google, Oracle, and Adobe.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Universidade Positivo and have spent the better part of 15 years applying that foundation across software engineering, infrastructure architecture, and technical leadership roles.

I enjoy finding unconventional technical solutions to complex problems and engineering them to scale. There’s a particular satisfaction in taking something that seems overly complicated and stripping it down to its simplest, most elegant form, whether that’s a process, a system, or a product. I also find deep fulfillment in coaching technical professionals, helping them grow from solid practitioners into sharp, autonomous leaders who can drive meaningful outcomes on their own.

When I’m not thinking about cloud architecture or AI tooling, I’m at home in Curitiba, Brazil with my wife and two kids, where I enjoy playing video games, making barbecue, cheering on Athletico Paranaense, and spending time with the children.
